Gold & Silver Prices Live ("the App"), available for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), and silverpriceslive.com ("the Website") are operated by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data these services process, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

The App and Website work without an account, and you can use them without providing your name, email address, or other account information. Viewing live prices sends a request to our Firebase backend, which may process standard request metadata such as your IP address and browser or device information.

• Website security: The Website uses Firebase App Check with invisible reCAPTCHA Enterprise to distinguish legitimate website traffic from automated abuse. Google may process browser, device, network, and interaction signals to provide this security assessment. We use it only to protect the live-price service, not for advertising or marketing.
• Price alerts (optional): If you create a push price alert, the App sends your device's push notification token, a randomly generated installation ID (a UUID created on your device, not tied to your identity), your app version, and the alert settings you choose (metal, currency, target price, and condition) to our Firebase backend so the alert can be delivered.
• Purchase information: If you subscribe to Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android). RevenueCat receives the transaction details and a random anonymous app-user ID to validate your subscription. Your Pro status (a yes/no flag) is also synced to our backend so alert limits apply correctly.

The App and Website do not collect your contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. They contain no ads and no behavioral analytics or marketing trackers.

2. How We Use Your Data

The limited data described above is used to display live prices, protect the service from automated abuse, and deliver the price alerts you choose to set up. Your push token tells our backend where to send a notification, the random installation ID lets you manage your own alerts, and your Pro status determines how many alerts you can create. Nothing is used for advertising or marketing.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

The App and Website communicate with the following services:

• Google Firebase and reCAPTCHA Enterprise (Google privacy policy): host and protect our price feed and alert backend. Firebase may log standard request metadata such as your IP address. Firebase App Check uses device integrity attestation in the App and an invisible reCAPTCHA Enterprise security assessment on the Website to reject unauthorized traffic.
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): manages subscription validation. It receives Apple or Google Play transaction data and a random anonymous ID — never your name or email.
• Apple (Apple privacy policy): on iOS, processes payments and delivers push notifications through the Apple Push Notification service.
• Google Play (Google privacy policy): on Android, processes payments through Google Play Billing; push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

The Settings screen contains outbound links (for example, to our other apps on the App Store or Google Play and to a bullion dealer's website). Tapping a link opens the destination site, which operates under its own privacy policy; the App itself sends no data with these links.

We do not sell or rent your data.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• On your device: Your settings and a cached copy of recent prices (shared with the home-screen widget) are stored locally. The random installation ID is kept in your device's Keychain (iOS) or private app storage (Android).
• On our backend: Only your alert configurations, keyed by your push token and random installation ID, are stored in Firebase. Deleting an alert in the app removes it from the backend.
• Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data and invalidates your push token, so no further notifications can be delivered.

5. Data Security

All communication with Firebase, reCAPTCHA Enterprise, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play happens over encrypted HTTPS connections. Firebase App Check helps verify that backend requests originate from the genuine App or Website.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete any price alert in the app at any time, which removes it from our backend.
• Decline or revoke notification permission in your device's Settings, which stops all push alerts.
• Remove all local data by uninstalling the app.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App or Website processes data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

The App and Website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.

8. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
